Season 4 looks to add two more characters to the game's impressive roster. Through numerous updates in the arcade version (including the "Fated Retribution" update that served as the base for the console version) as well as the DLC updates made in the console version, the selection of characters has since expanded to a startling 49, with guests from various franchises stepping in alongside the Tekken crew. Having released in arcades back in 2015, Tekken 7 launched with a roster of 20 characters during its initial run. With the Season 4 update coming to Tekken 7, Bandai-Namco looks to keep the trend going with some long-awaited updates and changes to the game's systems. With over 25 years of history behind it, the Tekken series continues to stand out as the leading 3D fighting game. Through its almost six-year run from arcades to consoles, Tekken 7 has continued to see updates and support from Bandai-Namco as its premier fighting game.
